This weekend, some rest, some chores, and some photos; always some photos, probably with my new favorite: Konica S III, loaded with Kodak Gold 200.

Well, I just pulled in a 100-300 f/5.6 Canon FD zoom that is already wearing my adapter and the Pen E-P2, so I guess it's off to stalk some suburban wildlife. But I'll bring along my Canon EF with a Canon 20/2.8 for those wide shots. I was also thinking maybe scout out some nearby lighthouse...

My backlog is getting scarily close to zero
I plan to do 2 rolls tonight and bring the number down to 1.5 (1 roll in camera). It will be historic if I get to zero.
There's an air show here this weekend , I may try to take some reaction shots. Also going to London on Sunday night for work. Will bring a film camera for fun
I recently got a Nikon SP and will try to exercise it.
Oh yeah, gonna run 17 miles Sunday morning...

Planning on heading into DC on Saturday to get some more practice in shooting Street. Going to be using my FujiGS645 instead of my M4-2 so that should make things interesting

Yes, one way or another, I'm going out and take pictures. I've been in a drought too long. I said much the same thing here last week, then a local cop pulled me over for driving around with expired plates. Totally my fault. The state changed our inspection-registration-plates routine; I'm not the only one dumb enough to get things confused.
In any case, driving was dramatically curtailed while I went through the drill to get new plates.
High temp this weekend looks to be a bearable 90, instead of the freakin' miserable near or over 100 that's been customary this summer.

Okay, Annapolis is looking good, at Thomas Point Park - the lighthouse is a mile or so out from shore, so I'm hoping I have a long enough lens. I think I need a film fix, so the Hexar may come along and see if there's anything 35mm-worthy to shoot. Bringing the old tripod for stability.

I'll be stuck writing a paper on some of my thesis work. Planning to take the 4x5 out early Saturday morning to shoot one of the local lighthouses. Sunday will be exciting since we have this

Good grief...Friday already.
I need to finish an APX400S roll in the M3.
Alan Oscroft lent me a J8 to try.
I was impressed by the J11 , loaned to me by Xmas, so can`t wait to see how the 8 performs.

I may keep it simple and use one of my Konica RF cameras. Thank you Paul for reminding me to do this!

Can't believe I spent over 2 1/2 hours driving on Saturday to get to a lighthouse I could barely make out on the horizon! :bang:

Jim,
This is most of the fun!
I have often "wasted" a good night sleep by driving for a dawn/sunrise shot just to find clouds covering up the sun!

Raid, clearly our definitions of the word "fun" are not in sync!
Last weekend I was balancing a huge telephoto lens mounted on the tiny Pen E-P2, trying to not have the whole thing come crashing down as I panned for a good shot! THAT was fun. (It did not come crashing down)

Back in 2006 I took a week off from work just so that I could shoot the fall colors along Skyline drive without dealing with the weekend crowds. Of course that week the weather decided not to co-operate so finally I just said screw it don't care what the weather like I'm going to get some shots so after a 2 hour drive there this what I got.http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/data/500/SkylineDrive_Oct06_011.jpg

Nope not at all just saying that even when the conditions aren't what you hoped they'd be you can still get some good shots

Depends on the weather, but I'd like to get out and do some 4x5 landscapes. More as practice getting back into the LF process than anything else.
Which I did. Found some interesting oaks, got a couple OK compositions, nailed the exposures & screwed up the development...
Hopefully everyone else had their weekend of photography "come out" better?
