Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Meh light today, good day to spend with the chemicals & tanks.

It's all County Fair, all of the time this weekend. Tonight I get to stand in an arena for several hours and take photos of cows, chickens, pigs, rabbits, goats, lambs...well, you get the picture. :)

All these animals have been judged and won various awards. We put a photo of EVERY kid with his winning animal in the newspaper. The always exciting life of a newspaper photographer!

I'm off work for the next week so for me it's off hiking & touring the countryside plus a drive to the mountains. Will be using my Bessa R & Canon SLR & perhaps a holga.

I just took 3 rolls to check which camera has a shutter curtain leak. I wasted 2 rolls by rolling back the film into the cannister as I switched it from camera to camera. I managed it in the end.
Leica M6--Leica M3--Canon P -- Hexar Rf [had to be the last since it has auto film advance and rewind. None of these will be used until I find out the shutter leak camera.

I met up with Paul, but I goofed since he wanted the Canon P and I had with me the Canon T90.

I may be off in 30 minutes for a drive with the family. The cameras are ready.

Raid I thought you had it all figured out which camera was the culprit! Get a Hakuba film puller, it'll be $20.00 well spent.

Went to a triathlon in Pensdacola early this morning, and made a few shots there; a sister-in-law competed. (FE2, Nikkor 50/1.8, Ferrania 400).
Met up with Raid and his girls; introduced them to my wife, daughter, and granddaughter; made some shots at the farmer's market. (FE2, Nikkor 50/1.8, Soligor C/D 28-55, Ferrania 400; Konica S III, BW400CN)
Had lunch on the sidewalk at a nice Greek/Mediterranean cafe with wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandchild; made a few shots there. (FE2, E35/2.5, Ferrania 400 and Memories 200; thanks Chabusco; I hope they turn out well, so I can say, "Thanks for the memories ...")
Early tomorrow: triathlon to see my 11-year-old niece compete, perhaps sunrise at Joe Patti's, meet up with Raid again ...

Greg,
I thought I did, but when using a strong light with a 10X loupe, I had doubts.
I will get a Hakuba film puller.

I took some sunset shots with fishing boats yesterday, and then I took this morning two rolls of Dana and Lina while they were playing outside at some Square downtown. I used a 50mm macro SLR lens to get close-ups of their eyes. I love eyes.

October 8-10

October 8-10

The weather is simply awesome here in Pensacola. We have 50's at night and then upper 70's to low 80's as high temperatures.

I will use my last Kodachrome with maybe the 75mm and 35mm Summilux lenses this weekend. Look for "reds". They pop up with Kodachrome.

What will you be up to?

Night of the Museums in Luxembourg on Saturday night. All museums are open until around 1 or 2 AM and there will be lots of people out going from one to the other. Last year we tried to do too many, so this year we'll strategically select one or two and tour them more in depth. Most likely the ZM, Nokton 35mm f1.4 SC, and a roll of Ilford HP5+ (maybe pushed to ISO 800) will be along for the tour.

Photographing old train bridges covered with overgrowth - Lambertville, NJ. Tri-X experiment...200 ISO and green filter. That's my Saturday afternoon.

Well I`m missing out on an impromptu RF meet in Manchester tomorrow.
However I`ll need to find a way of using my last roll of K64 which has been sat in my M3 for a week now.
Weather in the UK this weekend is given as good.

I am at home this weekend. Fixing to go the high school football game. The homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime.
Shooting whatever strikes my fancy the rest of the weekend ...

Now that I tested the M3 and M6 to be free of shutter curtain pinholes, they will be used until I figure out the"bad camera"

Thinking about taking a drive into Georgetown tomorrow morning and checking out the flea market. Will mostly bring the M6 with a couple of rolls of HP5

I will aim at a sunset shoot if possible.
The chrome Canon P turned out to be "the bad camera" after all.
