Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Just back from a local (huge) Carolina BBQ festival. X100 with 2 shots and the tiny GRIII with a bunch. Just love the little thing and the pork too -I have enough for a month!

I captured yesterday a very beautiful sunset at the beach. I posted five images in the library. I will try to take more photos today.

Shooting with my Plaubel Makiflexes (See My Avatar). 6x9 Neopan 400 and my new 240mm f5.5 Schneider Tele-Arton. Sure looks good on the grounglass.

Need to get out and use these more. Really like the way they handle.

It is weekend again, and what a wonderful Saturday we are having here in Pensacola.
I will continue my multi-year marathon of taking photos of my family in their surroundings, which happens to be interesting too!

What are you up to wherever you are living?

The weather is miserable her in not so sunny Wales. Off to show my GP at Discover Dogs, Earls Court on Sunday. Will take my Zeiss Ikon, maybe large format as well, but that is a long shot.

I have 2 rolls of color film I need to get developed & I loaded my Canon AE-1 which I've negelected, with Arista Premium 400 b&w film. The sun is out & it's in the mid 50's today here in N. Carolina. Think I'll go watch a few trains as they come through.

Rather unusually (in fact for the first day I can remember in the last six months or so), I haven't pressed a shutter button, because the terrible weather put me off taking my camera out of my bag.

Iorgot to post the weekly posting on our weekends!

I started yesterday morning with a drive to a fish market at the water front since there was fog, and fog can vanish quickly after sunset. I got some nice looking images (I think) of pelicans and of fishing boats.
Then, I drove home and I picked up my daughters to drive to Pensacola Beach where we enjoyed looking at the stormy waves in the Gulf. I also took photos there. The M8 with the Rigid Summicron and the M9 with the first version 35mm Summicron.

What have you been up to this weekend?

Met up yesterday morning with a small group of photographers for a walk along the C&0 canal near Potomac MD/MD side of Great Falls. Mostly used the M8 with Summitar .5cm but also used the Elmarit 28mm pre asph.

This weekend (Saturday night) I developed two rolls of Acros 100 (120) that I shot with the Yashicamat 124g...
A friend asked if I would like a Canon EOS something-camera that he bought just for the lens...I said sure...
Another friend asked if I would be interested in a Minolta Hi-matic 7...I'll find out tomorrow if his friend wants to sell it or give it away...it's in really nice condition and has the case too.

Got some film holders loaded, lenses cleaned and my Norman 200B hooked up to my Graflex light stick and everything synced. Gonna do some old timey street shooting with the Busch Pressman D.

It is weekend again!
I may do some street photography tomorrow, and I need to try out the Epson V600 scanner.

What are you up to?

Got my weekend started today by visiting Yates Mill in Raleigh. Completely restored and operational. Striking building sitting on the lake created to supply water to it. Hope to have a picture scanned soon.

I don't know if this counts as "weekend plans" since it's actually a Holiday plus the weekend, but I am going to visit family for Thanksgiving and the weekend and have rented a Fuji x100s to accompany me on the plane and on the trip. I've sent my film cameras and film in the car that is driving there and the digital will accompany me. I'm excited to have family to take photos of as well as trying this Fuji I've read so much about!

The weather here has not really been very photography friendly so this is my first big photographic opportunity in a week or so. I plan on shooting a LOT of film and digital.

SO that's what I have planned for the last of the week and the weekend. Family and photos galore. :D Oh, and turkey and stuff. :D

Another weekend photo fail. Next weekend I resolve to start one of the rolls of Fuji Superia X-TRA 120 rolls that have been languishing in my fridge for the last month or so.

If I can get my stuffed carcass off the couch, I hope to make it to the downtown skate rink and market tomorrow and dollar day at the museum on Sunday.
