Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

It is Sunday here in Florida! I have been busy with many things that did not allow me to take any photos so far this weekend.

Came down to Miami on Thursday night--brought a minimal kit: Leica IIIA, Summar, CV 21mm, and 4 rolls of film. 2 Ektar and 2 TriX. Have shot one of the Ektar and about half of the TriX.

Came down for the Miami Pen Show...have also hit some of the touristy spots, didn't shoot any at the show, have been looking at the "urbanscape" (as opposed to the landscape stuff I usually shoot) and architecture. Don't think I will have too much to share but I won't know for a bit.

Pardon my heresy though, but, I wasn't here for photography: I came down because I needed a break, I needed to not spend time with any freinds nor family. I needed some good and different food. And I needed to see something "new".

So, in that respect, this trip has been excellent!

Leaving to head back up north early tomorrow morning so I'm packing tonight, having dinner and drinks at the hotel, and bracing myself for the 3:45 alarm. :)

Saturday was:
FED-2/Jupiter 3
Long expired Fuji Superia Xtra 400
Custom car show/cruise.
The M4/35mm Summicron ASPH/FP4 stayed in the bag.

We have been having rainy days here in Pensacola, with the sun showing up in between rainfalls. I will use my borrowed M240 this weekend.

How about your weekend plans?

half weekend already gone with no photographic activity, no plan for tomorrow (sunday here).

It is hot (38 - 40 °C) and will be better stay home with air conditioning! Maybe a little bit editing!

We have pouring rain day after day, but there may be a brief break without rain on Sunday! I received today my 7Artisans 50mm/1.1 and a borrowed M240 to use too. It should be a good weekend for trying out this combo.

What are you up to this weekend?

It's hot here...most people already gone to holidays places...my town almost empty...but it's hot (98 °F)... no ideas, no plans for photography...probably some editing in front of the monitor in the air conditioned room of my studio...

Early fall weather in northern Michigan this weekend (cool!), which works out well for a planned photo shoot tomorrow with a local model. My partner (a professional costume designer) has outfitted our model in an old Victorian-era dress. We’ll be photographing her on the porch of a restored Victorian home as well as at a nearby old farm. I’ll be using my Leica M240, and Olympus OM-D and a Canon F-1 loaded with Ferrania P30 B&W film.

Same here, Robert! Plus smoke in the air from forest fires across the border in Canada...

Jim, the model shoot sounds like fun!

Im going to be and have been, buying film and sensor cleaning kit, doing the washing, getting a much needed haircut and preparing my gear. Im then heading to my grandparents Sunday night and this is all in preperation for my new job starting monday of office work and shooting interiors of 1 bedroom houses at an estate agents up in london

I'm carrying my camera around, but I'm shooting my current project while I'm at work, Monday through Friday. It's a year-plus construction project, and I'm trying to document it on a daily basis. And it's a LOT of work!

So far, I've made half a dozen random exposures this weekend. I can't remember any of them, so they are probably all throw-away.

Nothing planned for this weekend but come Monday I'll be back working at a customer's shop in Los Angeles and when I'm done there I get to walk around town shooting Street Stuff...

I've been shooting on Saturday nights at the Anna Jarvis house, the founder of Mothers Day. My friends wife plays in a band there every week to help generate a little revenue for the upkeep of the historic site. I've found some interesting characters there over the past few months. Today I think I'll develop some film from last night. Previous weeks:

It is Friday here in the USA. Tomorrow we will have partly cloudy weather, with the following 10 days filled with rain. I will use my borrowed M240 and the M8, I think.

What will be your weekend like?

Eclipse road trip!
Taking the M2 / Summitar and Kodak 200 color. I don't care if it is cloudy or bright, I'm not going to look at the sun, nor am I going to aim my camera at it.

I loaded my old Canonflex with a roll of Ferrania P30 and will be heading up to Sault Ste. Marie to photograph a bunch of motorcycles.
