It's a sweet camera ... Looking forward to becoming familiar with it once again!

The Fuji MF cameras are known to sport very sharp lenses, Godfrey. I have a 690BL and a 690GL.

Already decided which cameras and which lenses?Hi All. It is Friday here in the USA.
... I may start using the cameras and lenses that I want to use during our vacation in the summer so that I can figure out if I have chosen the right stuff for the trip.

I may get out my Land 250 to take some Polaroid photos with it. If the Land had been lighter, I would have planned to bring it with me to our trip this summer, Robert.

The heaviest I am willing to carry would be the M8 and M9 and one lens each.
Maybe just have with me the Hologon 16/8 on the M8 mostly and the 35/1.4 pre-asph on the M9 mostly.

It is Easter Sunday here.
I hope that you are enjoying the weekend.
The weather here in Pensacola has been awesome. We are having "Zeiss days", with deep blue skies.

Spent the morning on the floor cutting 12x16 sheets of HPR from a 50"x33' roll for platinum/palladium prints. Saved about 25% over the cost of pre-cut sheets, but my knees and back took a beating. Where's an intern when you need one?

Went down to the canal for a photo wander with my Leica R7 with the Summilux 80mm f1.4. My first firm, Portra 400, got some nice results, the second I thought was Portra 160. That I shot at 100 to find after developing it was actually 400. As I'd already over-exposed by a stop or two on many photos (the latitude is excellent), I rather ruined it all. Oh, and the one good portrait, which was underexposed got some flare.

It is Friday now. The weather seems to be OK so far, but storms are shown on TV for Texas. I may first complete some university work (submitting the grades for all of my students), and then I can unwind with some photography.
What are you planning to do this weekend?

Just got my mint condition Canon VI-T back from Kanto Camera, where it got a stripdown and CLA. It's loaded with a roll of Eastman 5222-XX. Time to take some pics.

First local farmers' market of the season tomorrow, may wander around there with an M8 and 24mm Summilux. Have not been shooting much so far this year...

Gonna Carry the MP with me for the next two days. Gonna take a portrait of an old friend that I may not see again. Then going to work on a project I’ve been shooting. Tonight I’m shooting a grand opening of a new restaurant. Tomorrow I’m shooting friends at the park, as we rarely get together. At night I have a work dinner where they rented out the new LA soccer stadium all to ourselves. After that I’m going to a late night rave. Seeing amnesia scanner for the first time, and I’ll be taking taking photos all night.
It’s gonna be a good one.
Happy shooting

Shooter of Film...
If I do anything photo related then it would be starting a photo book for the Chairman of a local Convention...needs to be done by July...I've finished downloading 3200 shots to Shutterfly and now I get to sort them out to show the Planning Meetings, Behind the Scene Stuff, Speakers, Meals, Decorations, Hospitality and whatever else...
I've done this same convention over the last seven or eight years...I'm done doing it...I need to step back and let someone else step up...

I want to try shooting an outdoor hockey rink, without ice or snow, as part of a series of iconic local images. Sounds like a doubtful enterprise, even as I type - AND I must write a self-appraisal of my work. It'll be the basis of my annual job performance evaluation!?

I used my D700 for a few shots today and yesterday. This camera is "too good"! Where is the fun?!
