I'm sick of this endless snow and I am going to shoot a couple of rolls this weekend if it kills me.

Zorki-3M with J-8 (thanks Brian!) and VCII, Canon P with 50/1.4 and Canon Meter, both loaded with Pro800Z. Wish me luck.

That's a nice looking 1962 KMZ made J-8. Your Canon 50/1.4 gives me ideas about buying such a lens one day as I sold mine. Maybe not.

Shoot snow scenes. What is wrong with that?

Not to rub it in, but we have a gorgeous sunny day in Pensacola, Florida. It is kinda boring for photography, but it is great for unwinding. In your case, it seems to be the other way around.

-20C and a big time snow storm approaching. It's been like this since Christmas. Taking photos isn't easy when there's no light around.

Mabelsound, your set up is wonderful. Both of your cameras and lenses are my favorites 🙂

Well, still no sun here, but we got up to 40 as well! Had a nice walk with the kids. Should have something to show for it from the darkroom in a few hours...

I'll swap you

I'll swap you

In the last 90 days we've had a grand total of 0.2mm of rain, and that was about 2 weeks ago. In old terms I think that equates to about 1/125th of an inch.

And it's been hot. And it doesn't look like next week will be any different. Frankly, I'm sick to death of sunshine

5-10 inches of the white stuff expected tonight
Almost lost my MP twice yesterday. Left it in the back seat of a car I was test driving, that was only for about 2 minutes. Then left in in a restaurant after lunch, took me 15 minutes to realize, 10 minutes of panic before I got it back.

today decided to stay in and develop film. got 2 rolls done, mixed up some Diafine for later. now going out to shoot - I will tie the camera to my body

Participated in the "Footsteps of the 82nd Airborne" Walk around La Gleize in the Belgian Ardennes. Loaded up a Kodak 35 RF and took my R-D1 with me. After a few hours of slipping and sliding in the snow and mud, I thought it better to keep moving and not stop for pictures 🙁

Next weekend I'm going to Fort Vechten in The Netherlands to help with a photoshoot for some guys from the 10th Commandos re-enactment group. Hoping to finish the roll in the 35 RF, and taking a few other cameras with me.

Not bad here ,on the west coast of Lancashire but heavy snow up in Scotland. I`ll try an head out to the hills or the Lune valley this weekend.Shot two rolls of Superia X-TRA last weekend but (for the first time) the mini lab cocked them up plus my scanning technique didn`t help things.

That's it Michael - be adventurous!...head for the 'Trough of Bowland' - it's not far away! 😉
