Check THIS ONE OUT. It's a bit of frosted flakes, shaped like the state of Illinois.

The amazing thing is the price it's about to reach...

BTW, this was reported in the Chicago Tribune and Yahoo...

One more sign that capitalism has gone astray. I remember the Virgin Mary in a grilled cheese sandwich but this one? It's just too weird. What's gonna be next?

not sure that this is capitalism gone astray- I have to believe that the bidders are just goofing around, and have no intention of paying up.

now the whole credit mess is another story. Makes me wonder why I am responsible, given that there are no consequences for some of the greedy folks who caused this situation

I just don't know whether to find it funny or strange.

From what I read in the news, the girls (two sisters) intend to buy more cereal with the proceeds of the sale. How cute... :) ?

Have you checked the price of corn lately? The increasing use of ethanol made from corn is pushing prices out of sight. I strongly reccommend our members switch to rice crispies, but not suddenly, in order to avoid a price spike. As for myself, I prefer oatmeal.

I think it's a knock-off. Someone's getting ripped off here big time.

I've been desperately looking for a flake, snowflake, soap flake and all kinds of things in the shape of a Leica to offer it for sale too. Any takers? :)

Which other shapes can we consider marketable? How about the state of Texas? Or a difficult one like Michigan?
