Hey all,

Just want to share my experience with a weird little MF folder, the Welmy six.

Rather than copying the content of my blog on it, please find it here.

Enjoy!

Six-shooter! Cool term for a camera! :D

But my my, it's a beauty... Was the lens wide open when you took that pot-and-plant photo? Makes for a nice "impact" effect. You did well to buy this camera. :)

P.S. I like the one with waterlilies. Makes me want to try some color film with my Nettar. Slide or color negative, dunno as of yet.

Unusual camera .... sharp lens going by the third pic.

You sure like your quirky cameras! :D

I read the review of this in your blog... last night (?). Interesting little camera, certainly a sharp little lens on it.

Yes, you should definitely look for colorful places and shoot a roll of Kodak Portra VC with your Nettar.

The plant shot surprised me also, I thought I put in the lens' back element backwards after I cleaned up the shutter diaphragms. :p

Indeed, I have other photo from this roll of my wife and daughter and about 20 meters behind them are a couple of people walking, guess what... they all are sharp in the picture! which surprised me because I thought in the MF world, the DOF are shorter than in 35mm even though the aperture is stopped down pretty low (f11 I think).
