All,

I would like to welcome back as a sponsor Robert White. As you know, Robert White is the premier camera shop in Europe. This may be a little premature on my part to mention. But, Robert White is now the official UK distributor of Zeiss. And if you are looking for an Epson RD1, the word is that Robert White has aquired a good stock of them and is selling them at a very good price.

Anyway,

Welcome back Robert White

(Kinda sounds like the title of a movie :) )

ah me! I can't believe the price the R-D1 is now... and I've just maxed out the credit card :(

(I tell myself the body I've got would get jealous if I got another)

Robert White is great to deal with. I bought my RF645 kit from them (two lenses and body) for the best price anywhere on the planet. At least, to my knowledge.

They know their business, are quick with transactions, offer great prices considering their local competition, and are very freindly.

I would like to add my bit in support of Robert White.

I ordered an RD1 from then but managed to get one elswhere before they had it in stock. They were happy that I had found the camera and when I ordered some other items the service and speed was superb.

They are great people to talk with as well

I too found Robert Whites customer service exceptional. They sent my R-D1 on a specified day so I could be home to receive it and I am confident that should I require it their after sales will be exceptional too.So if your thinking of an Epson R-D1 Robert Whites your man.

Steve

The good thing about Robert White is that there is so much in stock, even the viewfinder for the 12mm Voigtlander and a eye coorrcetion lens for the R-D1, was no problem.
Great folks to deal with.

The RFF page they have on their site needs updating. Of the products they list for us, three lead to - 'Discontinued, no stock remaining' messages (Rollei 35RF, XPan, Bronica RF).

Nice people though.

Perhaps that might mean, 'There are no more, we don't have any, don't waste your time asking us for...?

Sort of like outside a sports stadium: 'All tickets for the final sold out'.

I have shopped twice with them in the past, both times I left a happy customer. It is very nice to have this shop catering so well and so extensively for what is ultimately a niche market. I hope they will imitate their counterparts across the pond and extend some offers for members of RFF.
