It's time to welcome the Prinz 35 ER to the Minolta 7sii, Revue 400SE and Vivitar 35ES gang. Got my first roll back and am delighted with the lens!

However a few of the pictures have a 'band' in the pictures like the second example;

Any ideas?

The composition in that first picture is breathtaking.

As for the 'banding', I would guess it's a stuck shutter curtain. The border is very abrupt, which suggests that the shutter curtain hung there for awhile. I might be wrong, of course.

That was my first thought when I saw the picture but I think the camera has a leaf shutter not a focal plane one. 😕

My guess would be on a shifty shutter curtian, too, but I can't find anything on google to tell me if it its a focal plane or a leaf shutter.

Can Duncan tell us which kind of shutter it is?

otherwise, maybe its bad processing?

It's a leaf shutter, the camera is more or less a Minolta 7sii.
