The haunting sounds of "bob-whites" in the darkness.
Bob-white is the local name for the Whippoorwill (or Chuck Will's Widow or whatever) and this is the sound we Southerners hear from April to sometime in the Fall each day of the year...along with mourning doves and owls. Great with the windows down or when camping! Hardly ever listen to music when we have these symphonies available.
