Given his recent demise, I had to listen to Jimmy Buffett the other day. What better way than the album "Boats, Beaches, Bars and Ballads". It's a bit too much Buffett for me in one sitting but it does cover his earliest songs, the ones I was most familiar with.

Rachel Eckroth, Oil. Sort of Jazz-Rock-whatever... Impressive!

Listening to an audiobook rendering of one of my old favorites, "The Farthest Shore" by Ursula K. Le Guin. The reader is doing a good job.

so... '4 dead in Ohio...'
Neil Young wrote the song, CSN & Y recorded the song; a powerful anti-war song in May 1970, Vietnam war will not be over for another...
5 years, more than 4 Vietnam innocent people killed in the 10 year of V War of course...how about 2,000,000 Two Mils, people
Big setting of the 'Ohio' song in May 2013, i wish Young did the lead vocal...
'Ohio', Great song

I'm shocked! How is it possible that I'm not familiar with this album? It looks like a good one... I must get it!
All the best,

i have the DVD set of 'Concert for George' Royal Albert Hall ( 2002 ), George's kanban ( 看板 ) song is 'While my Guitar Gently Weeps'... ( i like his
'You' and ' All Things Must Pass' better)
this is the 2004 induction ceremony concert version of 'While My Guitar', with Prince's unimaginably amazing guitar solo, ( there was a Eric Clapton sole i'll find it later)
Prince, Exceptional!
pretty good audio quality, i switched to an Aiyima tube mini amp with a Moukey 24v 5000mA power supply plus a pair of Elac ( German) speakers

I just learned that in July of this year, Peter Nero, "Pianist", died at the age of 89.
I have a rather significant collection of Peter Nero CDs. Many of those CDs are reissues of original vinyl recordings.
I listen to his recordings almost everyday. He was the King of Pop before there was a King of pop.
RIP Peter, thank you for the music.
