At last!
At last!
Sitting at the compter,
the night is drawing in,
its been a great afternoon in the valley
Sunny with cloud
not too warm in fact a bit hazy
dogs are asleep as only dogs can be asleep
the grandfather clock is ticking downstairs
there is a fly somewhere but not bothering me or the dogs
and in the garden the sound of running water.
This afternoon was spent in and out of the pond trying first to find the blockage in the 'fountain', then to remove the pipe to shift it!
Lots of rocks to get out of the way and finally got the pipe out.
Found the blockage.
Refixed all the pipe and really checked the joints.
Turned on the water and it flowed.
Bit of a relief really that it only took the afternoon to do.
The other half was out so she didn't see me fall in the pond!
She didn't see me get soaked as I tried to realign the pipe to get a better flow.
But neither did anyone else.
Do you find you get jobs done better when you are on your own?
But the sound of the water is really great after having been off for several weeks.
That is what I am listening to!
