What are you listening to at the moment?

Wolfgang Dauner, Output. Really interesting early ECM release, but it sounds nothing at all like most ECM records. Abstract electro-acoustic, excellent. Sadly hard to find and long out of print, mine's a CD-R but I'd really like to get an original copy.

A great record! Doesn't Fred Braceful play drums on that date? WD is on another ECM rec. from around that time by Robin Kenyatta that's worth a listen. I believe there's a Japanese cd reissue of 'Output' that's somewhat available.

A label i work for just reissued Sun Ra's "The Night of the Purple Moon", which has been seeing some stereo time 'round these parts.

Right now I'm listening to Rammstein, it's past midnight and and the world is quiet. I'm thinking that I grab my XA and go for a walk with my tripod. To get some nice and quiet shots.

Zeitgeist by Smashing Pumpkins - ther first album in 7 years - seems like it was worth waiting for.

Just after 'Attack Decay Sustain Release' by Simian Mobile Disco :)

Art Brut : It's a Bit Compicated

The Anthology of American Folk Music

Electric Light Orchestra

Of Montreal: Hissing Fauna are you the destroyer?

Pop Levi: The Return To Form Black Magick Party

It's a weird combo of music I know.

Indeed he does.

Thanks for that. I've never seen it, but I'll keep my eyes open. I'll be in Tokyo in October and know a few record shops where I might be able to find an original, I'm hoping to get lucky.

I have an awful lot of Sun Ra records, but not that one :) Will add it to the list.
