i'm listening to students complain about their in class essay on the physical and social setting of a novel they're studying. heh.
 
Next Saturday I'll be listening to singer songwriter guitarist Richard Thompson live in concert, with Danny Thompson on standup bass.

I am so psyched! Richard is amazing, and it's my first real concert in ten years, since my daughter was born. We got a sitter and everything...

The leafblower of my neighbour. He uses it virtually every evening now; does not understand the concept of a broom, and good manners. It can go on for over two hours. And they wonder why gasoline demand remains high...

My SO, Barbara's favorite two are Richard Thompson and Roxie Music. RT apparently does a lot of live stuff in the New England area. Bit too far of a drive for us.

I generally listen to my wife's students as they inexpertly find their way around the piano, or accompany her playing. One of the few disadvantages of working from home. I have tried listening to other music but gave up for the gentle hum of the computer!
