What are you listening to at the moment?

Sweet silence with the help of earplugs!

When addicted to music like I am, it is a very rare and pleasant thing to enjoy silence!

Cheers, Walter

I use in the darkroom a repro of a 1930's radio. It has the tuning with a knob that shows the station numbers on a round dial like a clock. It had a small flashlight type bulb for lighting but burnt out which is fine with me for the darkroom.

Handel and Scarlatti played by Murray Perahia. A unique disc with such a fresh piano sound, all the modern advantages of the pianoforte, but gently rendered to the point of conjuring up a fortepiano.

Pond - Giant Tortoise
Tame Impala - Elephant
Goat - Run to Your Mama
Irma Thomas - Anyone Who Knows What Love is
Wreckless Eric - Whole Wide World
Lou Johnson - The Beat
Nas - Illmatic

WQXR-FM via the Internet and my Squeezebox Touch. Francois Couperin, Concert No. 1 in G. Not my cuppa tea, actually, but too lazy to change the station.

"Communique" by Dire Straits. Testing my new Yahama A700 Integrated Power Amp.

Probably my favorite Dire Straits album. Sounds great :p
