Andras Schiff playing Schubert G major Sonata on a Brodmann fortepiano. ECM disc. Absolutely wonderful hearing the difference and the solutions required in the performance. Schiff's liner notes essay on his conversion to at least this element of authenticity is compelling. Some other Schubert gems on the two disc set.
