What are you listening to at the moment?

With a slight sense of embarrassment, but only slight as I grew up in the MidWest in the 70's, a bit of Styx is on iTunes at the moment... :eek:

"Roadsongs" every Tuesday night from 8:00-10:00pm on KBCS, the best community radio station that I know of.

They have great programing during the rest of the day as well. Jazz in the mornings, excellent folk and world music from noon to 5:00 pm, "Democracy Now!" with Amy Goodman at 6:00am and again at 5:00pm. Evening programing is everthing from Reggae to Grateful Dead to Celtic, depending on the night. (All are Pacific times).

I don't have the cases or track listings on either as my brother gave them to me but one is the fourth cos its written on the CD
i'll look out for the others.
The Buddha Bar's (especially 3 and 7) and Paul Oakenfold's get heavy listening too.

My Morning Jacket - It Still Moves and Z (the two latest albums)

If you've never heard them, try It Still Moves, one of the best albums in recent history to me :)
 
Listening to the cast, including Caravaggio, in Starhunter (the second one), and after that 1st Wave. :)
 
Currently listening 'The Soft Pink Truth', interesting and cool.

Trance can be fun, especially when you are doing something on the computer. If you havent heard it yet, try to listen to 'Involver' by Sasha. Its great. I am a fan of electronic music in general.

Folks at work often crack up when they enter my office. When working I've often got some mini-over-the-ear-earphones on, bobbing my head to the beat, and listening to trance. I guess the added effect of being in my 40's with a greyish beard must be a bit of a sight. In fact at this moment I'm listening to "Crystal Clouds Exclusive Mix 01-23-06" by Avid & Petro.

(Unfortunately if I get to bouncing too much to the beat, my sentences come out a bit incoherent. :D )

Kraftwerk , "Das Model". The original from 1978. Kind of like the equivalent of the Leica M3 of electronic music.
