Jerry Moss, cofounder with Herb Alpert of A&M records passed away yesterday at the age of 88. This is probably of little interest to most RFF members but it does sadden me.
I have a pretty big music collection and a significant chunk of my collection is from A&M recording artists.
If you're not familiar with Jerry Moss and you're interested read this in the LA Times
Now listening to Joe Cocker, "Up where we belong"
RIP Jerry,
Mike

No, the very last Dunhill LP is the one which didn't grab me. Haven't heard the Project 3 Quad LP yet, but that label's Tony Mottola output is excellent, the contemporary tunes albums I cherish! I figure Project 3 is a good label fit for Phil Bodner's work.I take it you're talking about the Quadraphonic LP on Project 3 records as the one that doesn't work for you?
All the best,
Mike

There is Glenn Gould and the Goldberg Variations, and then there is Reinbert de Leeuw and the Gnossiennes.

I am listening to my Danish F-Beat LP of Rockville/Seconds Of Pleasure. A pleasure of mine during high school. My Technics loves it.

Love this. But I own the original Reprise LP bearing this track. Stereo and like FAS and the big band is in your room. Provided your HiFi rig is excellent.
