Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4
I saw Chicago at the Rochester (New York) War Memorial in the early '70s. In those days I listened a lot to Humble Pie, Grand Funk, Edgar Winter's White Trash and Chicago. I always thought that "25 or 6 to 4" was a true masterpiece.
All the best,
Mike

Last night I was listening to Stanley Turrentine's "Don't Mess With Mr. T."
This morning, it's just the clothes dryer tossing around the laundry.

I earned a whopping $10 as an usher for the all-day concert at Soldier Field in 1970 that Chicago headlined. They were good, but more impressive to me were hearing Iggy and the Stooges, Parliament/Funkadelic, MC5, and others.Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4

And in the car this morning Bach a L'Italie, Justin Taylor, Harpsichord. A clever compilation of Bach including the Chromatic Fantasy BWV 903 and a wonderful rendering of BWV 914, the Toccata in E minor, mixed with other Bach inspired by Italian music, not least the Italian Concerto, but also some Albinoni, Scarlatti, Marcello and Viivaldi

My favourite song from a beautiful melancholic album. Complex and crafted as a sophisticated requiem for lost opportunity. Quite exquisite.
