Just listened to Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant, Alice died last week. (The real Alice of Arlo Guthrie’s 'Alice’s Restaurant' dies at 83) American Thanksgiving is coming up so I guess it is time for those of us of a certain age to play this song.

I found Arlo has an account on Flickr. Just snapshots, nothing earth shattering. I think his musical career was cut short due to a stroke. I always enjoyed his recordings in the GOD. If I still had a turntable, I would play the entire "Alice" LP, scratches and all at Thanksgiving dinner. But it would probably drive my wife nuts.

at 31 (2023), with all those tattoos...looked like he 'went thru Things'...it's a very good song non the less...
