Newsroom chatter and buzz between 1st and 2nd editions. Not like it was with teletypes in the '70s, though. No bells or anything.

hey, does any one have XM Radio? What a treat. I drive an hour each way to work and just love it. Great jazz channels and everything else you would want too. One of the big selling features for me is that as a subscriber you can stream the channels on your computer, so I have the same channels to listen to in my car and on my computer. Cool stuff.

really beautiful totally uncut, unplugged guitar with waves or something in the background. That and a couple glasses of wine make George a quiet boy.

at the moment I'm listening to classical piano music coming from WQXR in New York...coming to me without cost in North Carolina via "AOL music"...when it lulls me to sleep, I switch to blues or women blues or New Orleans sounds or Laughs [comedian monologues] or a wide variety of Jazz, 40s, 50s, 60s music...just background while I'm working on the computer... my daughter calls some of it "the doctor-will-see-you-now music" or elevator music or Muzac, a subscription service for doctors, etc...regards, bob
