What are your Favorite Fuji-X lenses?

I'm quite happy with mine, but trying to choose a favorite? Depends on the day.

I had the 14 2.8 a while back and there is nothing not to like about that lens. Results I got with that lens were pretty stunning. And it was a nice travel lens. If not my favorite, that was just personal preference related to "wide" focal length.

My favorite focal length is 23 or "35" FOV and the 23 f 1.4 would absolutely be my favorite if it were smaller. I sold my copy. The 35 f 1.4 is a fabulous lens and I'm sure when I get to know the 18 f2, I will still consider the 35 to be the better lens.

I still have my 27mm, but expect the 18 f2 will be my regular carry lens for the XPro 2. For my needs when I travel with a camera, and want to take one lens, it is "35" FOV. With Leica this works well to take a 35 Summicron, and always room for a 50. So when I travel next with my Fuji, I will carry the 18 f2 going wide, and then the 35 1.4

I'd love to use one, but I found it to be too slow in AF for the way I photograph. I use the 50mm f/2 instead.

I used the 56/1.2 on the XP1 and found tie OVF 'window' to small. Is the 50mm window better?

Have you tried changing the magnification of the OVF (if you hold the vf lever to the right for a second the magnification changes in the OVF)?

Sure I did.
I upgraded from XP1 to XT2 with mainly the 16-55mm but I kind of long to my film days with the Contax G2 and the beautiful 21/28/45/90 mm set and I might want to recreate this digitally with the XP2 and the new F2 fujicrons. I still have the 14 2.8 and the 18 2.0 but the 23 1.4 and the 56 1.2 are superb lenses but imo to big on the XP. I would like to know how the 23 and 50 F2's behave whilst using the OVF before I plunge into a new XP2 adventure.

I also have and love the Contax 21/28/45/90 lens set. However, I primarily only carry the 21/45/90 as a set.

I tried to duplicate that with my Fuji X cameras with the 16mm f/1.4 / 23mm f/1.4 / 56mm f/5.6 Fujinon lens set.

My Fujinon set works OK on my XP1 with OVF, EVF, or LCD viewing but works even better on my XP2.

I would love to say that my favorite is the 23/2. But it is to soft at f/2. I would guess it is the the 35/2 for me.

Time to revise my favorites list again. Right now, this minute, today my favorites are the three "Fujicrons" (23mm, 35mm and 50mm f/2 models), the 14mm and my newest addition, the Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.8.

Adding the : Fujinon XF 16mm f2.8 R WR lens to the list
XF 18mm f2 lens (35mm format equivalent = 27mm)
XF 23mm f2 lens (35mm format equivalent = 35mm)
XF 35mm f2 lens (35mm format equivalent = 53mm)
XF 50mm f2 lens (35mm format equivalent = 76mm)

Any of those five mounted on my X-Pro2 and I’m going to have a good day. No other Fuji lenses need apply, I’m not hiring. Five and done!

While certainly not disagreeing with you Mike, my frugality has it pared down to just the 23/2 and 50/2. I had the 18/2 years ago when I had an X-Pro1, and liked it a lot.
I'm holding out for the 16/2, hopefully.

16/2 would be fantastic, assuming smallish in size, and image quality equal to the 1.4 version.

Gary, I agree, I could be happy for the rest of my life with just the 23/2 and 50/2. They are outstanding!

The announced upcoming 16mm will be an f/2.8, not an f/2. I was kind of disappointed but I'll accept f/2.8 if the size is kept small and the image quality is up to normal Fuji standards.

Small 16 sounds good to me, too, Dogman.
I'd actual prefer a 2.8...two stops slower than the 1.4 should make a significant difference in size, weight and price.

Meanwhile, the 35 1.4 is still my favorite. People complain about focusing noise and speed but I don't notice either much. It could behave like a geriatric cement mixer and the optical magic would be worth the trade off. I shoot this lens wide open whenever possible, rarely smaller than f 2.8.
