I have 2 GX models and just need to check on the exposure arrows with others.

The first has PC640A batteries. Red exposure arrow comes on when pointed at a bright light and set at f1.7, but goes out when aperature ring is shifted to f4.

Second came with 625A and red light stays on on all settings. Pointed at the same bright light and even when pointed out the windows. Sunny outside when tested, but not pointed directly into the sun. Just straight out the window in both the front and back of the house.

Tried it with same PC640A and Yashica Guy adaptor with CR13N battery and get the same results, so know I don't know what's a proper exposure reading.

I bought the second as it was sold as fully CLA'd

Thanks

I put two 675 hearing aid batteries in mine yesterday and ran two rolls thru. Worked perfect, nice crisp properly exposed. They only last a couple of months ,but are cheep.

Found out what the problem with my second one is.

It's missing the aperture light ring inside the sensor, so it's getting full light and will always read overexposure
