My M6 classic is coming tomorrow and I want to have a battery ready for it at the office. I search on google and couldn't find a battery type. What brand/model of battery does it take? Is it readily available?

Two standard SR44/LR44 1.5v batteries, they are available everywhere where I live.

Yeah I just got it from radio shack for $5.19!!! I'll stick to online vendor from now on...

Buy a stack of them. I think lithium has a shelf life of about 10 years.

I just use relatively inexpensive silver oxide button cells from Wally World. They last a looooong time.
