Windows 10 users may be familiar with this photo, but I was wondering what camera this is?

Well it must be a Pentacon Six BUT the shutter release, shutter speed dial and film advance are all on the opposite sides of the camera to where they should be! Odd though, none of the writing on the lens or shutter speed dial is mirror image.

A special left-handed Pentacon Six, surely not?!?!

I thought it a bit strange that the shutter release was on the left - until I saw another photo in Windows 10 which is a mirror image of the first. Although the dials and lens is not a mirror image - some (pointless) photoshopping going on there I would think.

Even if they had made a left-handed version they would hardly have gone so far as to create a mirror image version of the entire entrails. The camera has reversed film type reminders on either side (where one would have to be a speed reminder), and a reversed time wheel, too.

In all probability the decision makers had already passed a draft on paper, which was aligned that way, and the PP folks photoshopped a P6 or rearranged a CGI model to match that draft. Stuff like that is pretty common in product photography these days.
