what camera strap are you using these days?

I use the peak design (PD) camera anchors, but with other neck straps or wrist straps that are made with the PD ends to engage and disengage from my cameras. Rock n’ Roll and other strap makers provide this option, so not restricted to PD offerings.

I keep changing my mind if I'm honest. But the old thin nylon ones were the least hassle, and they didn't take up space when you put your body in the camera bag. They just look like sh**! The anchor ones are good. Currently I've gone back to the thin leather shoulder strap on the M, because it looks nice, and a nylon wrist strap on the Fuji as it's practical. The Ricoh has the same thin wrist strap on I've had for years. I think this thread is telling me something..... 🙂

I like thin straps for the same reason. They leave enough room to get another camera body and lens in the bag. I don't mind the looks; but I do admire some of the straps I see in this thread! I do require a flat strap, not a rope-like one, because they distribute the weight better.

So, that is an artisan and artist strap? The first one pictured has a look (to me) of being soft and flexible, unlike some leather straps--including some expensive ones--that seem like they would be too stiff to fold up nicely into a camera bag. I wonder if most other A&A straps are soft. Or maybe the brown one is softened from use? I'd like something more luxurious than my Leica straps.

I have these genuine leather straps made by a craftsman according to my design; they are soft, especially durable, and also affordable 🙂

I have been looking for one of these:

It's a Tamrac N-40, long discontinued...
