GAS hit me today at noon... did something that makes very little sense and now I need even more gear.

Bid & won a Leica meter.

I have metered Leicas. I'm lucky enough to have three gorgeous lenses. I'm also in debt. Why do I want a Leica meter? :confused:

And now I have the perfect excuse to hunt for an M2 or M3.

Francisco, sorry to hear of your latest attack of GAS! An unmetered Leica is surely justified now!
 
Francisco. Congratulations. I understand that you will be expecting an M3 soon. As you have an M6, that 0.9x M3 viewfinder will be the perfect complement for it. Funny thing, after using Denis' M6 for a week, I will probably add one to the fold. They are nice cameras.
 
Brian, I have one on my sights... but first, I need to get that meter going the right way.

Any idea how it's used?

I found out how to operate it, but the readings it gives are, to say the least, strange. There's a place called Quality Light Metric that supposedly can revive these gizmos, so I'll be sending it there soon...

Now... time to get some Cameraleather stuff! :)
 
Ohhh Francisco, I see you're lost to the dark side again.

But as anyway you're already lost, a nice M3 is the way to go :)
