My cousin and I are big travelers these days. Trying to get out every year to another place or two. We did England and France last winter. This winter, we are thinking of seeing Prague.

Any suggestions for an RFFer's best bet?

I'm thinking of some other possible places like Budapest, Rome, St. Petersburg (dangerous, I know), Istanbul. . .

Maybe Switzerland?

If you knew all that I knew,my poor Jerusalem... that's my recopmendation locally :)
Dresden,Prague and Barcelona are the cities I visited over the last year and I recommend all of them.

there are pictures of all of the above on my gallery

I think all places are dangerus this days home or out, so go were you want and dont try to think about it! I went to Turkey this summer and now there have ben bombs there to, but anyway I think I woud pick Istandbul, I was very facineted bay the way a muslimic contry is and it's so different from other countrys I were!

How about the southern hemisphere? Asia, New Zealeand,Australia, south pacific ect......these places don`t have the age old history and architecture of say, north America or Europe, but they do have awsome landscapes, people and small towns worthy of a good rangefinder! Having said all that, I`m off to europe next year to shoot some film coz it`s about time I dusted off my passport and headed north!

The city that I want to visit next is Barcelona. May stop by Liverpool to watch a game (I'm a Liverpool fan!).

How about Reykjavik ?
Season is just starting in Iceland.....
Otherwise Dehli, Bombay etc are great.

Ciao

Joerg

I was in Santa Fe, New Mexico last winter (Februrary) and thought it was beautiful at that time of year. It was quiet and peaceful, too, with a lot fewer tourists and lower hotel prices. Depends on what you're looking for, of course.

Ljubljana and Lake Bled.

In the US
Pittsburgh, yeah Pittsburgh.
Wonderful town now that it has been cleaned up a bit. Take a boat trip up to
Elizabeth on the Monongahela ride through some of the locks. Take the cable car to Duquesne Heights and Mount Washington.

I onced took a job that promised good travel, "see the world"! I got to see Monaco/Monte Carlo, Nice, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Sicily, Portugal, Norway, and a few others all courtesy of the US Marine Corp :)

I'd go back to any of those places, wasn't much into photography back then. Lisbon Portugal is a pretty amazing place, great food, great people, and ton's of photo ops.

Have Fun,
Todd

Yes to Budapest and surrounding villages. Get away from cities!

Yes to Switzerland. Interlachen was nice. It's all nice!

Brussels, Ghent and Brugge, Belgium. Great museums, great cathedrals, GREAT beer, great food.

Bon voyage!

If you're headed to Prauge, take a little time and check out Bavaria. I esepcailly enjoyed my vistis to Munich, Nuremberg, Ansbach and Rothenburg ab der Tauber. Then down into Switzerland or over to Austria.
