from my experience, i hate the way fuji pro films scan. i have tried nps and npz. npz was a total disaster (even exposed at 400) and nps was okay but all the colors were pastel like and with my weak photoshop skills i wan't able to get them to look right. did they change the properties of the film when they started calling it pro 160 s/ pro 800 z?
i like the way superia scans and kodak ultra color as well as portra. kodak gold is no good. anyway, i prefer scanning slides to negatives. people say it's difficult but with a little practice i was able to get much better results (smoother images and better colors) than with negative film.
