Some years ago i was rummaging through some old boxes of stuff and I found an old camera my dad bought back in 1973. It was a tiny little rangefinder called Electo CC.

Cool.

I popped in some batteries with a copper wire from a flashlight and it worked fine. Except for a little light leak. 30 year old Electronics imagine that!

I've just sent it for a good CLA and I'm expecting it back soon.

The only problem was a uniform strangely yellow hue on the photos making them look really old. I'll see if it is still there when i shoot the next roll.

I understand this camera has a top shutter speed of 250.
Do you guys use ND filters when shooting on a bright sunny day?

Thanks

Nick

I just can answer about the ND flters.
I don´t use them because my RFs does not make automatically the factor compensation, then I can forget the filter in, (or meter setting) and get weird results or spoil a full roll of film. Besides I´m tied only to ISO 400 maximum, so ND filters are not a must at least for me.
Hope it helps.

Cheers

Ernesto
