Really no kidding this is what I woke up to this past morning........

I must'a been a good little boy this year because Santa left this under my tree 🙄

1948 Black Paint MOOLY C Leica Motor #5481 as delivered originally on 07.05.48 to a Photo Studio in Munich, Germany.

After lusting about 20 years for one of these, I finally have one, it makes a nice crazy sounding racket when it's all hooked up, but it is really a pretty kool device. 🙂

Let's see more photos posted of anything my fellow RFF'er's have received this Christmas.

I hope everyyone has had a wonderful day 😀

Enjoy!

Tom

Well, Santa left a new Mac Pro this year. Wasn't exactly what I was lusting after, but a major power surge took out my old Mac Pro about a month ago. A new camera would have been MUCH more fun, though. 🙂

Tom, you must have been REALLY nice this year!

I now own a colorstar 2000, which should come in very handy, and save a fair bit or paper. Also, I have enough books to last me at least a few months now.

I didn't know santa had manufacturing capabilities for making Leicas in his workshop? Must be all the elves.

I just took Santa's sleigh and got myself a Nikon Coolpix P7000... about 10 days ago. So, when I woke up this morning (with a headache), I already had played with it quite a bit.

Not bad, though, for a fierce film user who falls for a first digiP&S.

Whaddaya get? 🙂

Well to my surprise I opened one gift that turned out to be this laptop I using right now...
My old one (2003) is being worked on right now, I was using another (not as old) laptop until last week when it turned a Blue-screen on me...after that happened I headed upstairs to the kids computer...
This was a huge surprise...I know I don't deserve this...

A joint birthday/Christmas present, a Feisol tripod and a PhotoClam ballhead. I'd been considering a decent tripod for about 3 years but couldn't justify putting down the cash for one. Just picked up a LF field camera though so I had to stop procrastinating on it.

Got a thumbs up grip for the M8, and the M coder to put some info on my lenses.
Some RAM and a new hard drive for my desktop to edit photos on.

And Leica gave me a nice early Christmas present with my lens coming back from being cleaned.
Was sent for service in July and got it back on the 23rd.

A 1971 Nikon F with plain prism, along with Ftn metered prism and leather case, and a 50/2 Nikkor in fab shape, probably stored in the case for the past 35 years...

Asked for one book but got "New Topographics", "Witness Number 7", "Between the Two", "A Beautiful Disaster", a few critical theory books that I will eventually need for school but wanted now, some film, and a hiking backpack for spring. Sierras, a tripod, and my 7. So stoked! Merry christmas!

A Nikkor-S 50mm f2 Nine blades for my nikon F....a Black Jupiter 3 for my M6 and a summicron 8 lens with googles for my M3...some of my cameras are happy now 😀.
And for me...a Plustek 7600, so finally after 20 years i can scan some negatives in digital.

An amazing christmas this year

Pair of Kowa 6x6 medium format camera's and lenses showed up on the local craiglists this week, picked em up on the 24th.
I gave the older one (plus 85mm f2.8 lens) to a good friend of mine for his christmas and kept the Super 66 for myself.
