What did you sacrifice?

I have been thinking about this. How much of a sacrifice? Since I can tie more than half my photography to my adventures with my son I see it more as an investment. A seemingly crazy photography jones is just another great reason to be a dad in my eyes.

Anyway...I did not sacrifice anything directly
BUT i think i did sacrifice lots of my time while repairing cameras, reading how to do it, buying them online, and generally wasting time on RFF, LOL
time which i could have used for:
-work (still writing my thesis 😱)
-watching TV (bleah)
-drinking Guinness and Jameson (not healthy)
-surfing Internet other than RFF.

Briefly, i am not starving yet and I still have a social life so the only thing is point 1 above...

Heh, like Pherdi said, work! But that's a sacrifice I'm always willing to make 😀 . I too have been laboring with my thesis for an eternity. Gone into some sort of a torpor now. Thoughts of metal and glass are keeping me on the border of wakefulness for the most part.
