What do you do to pass the time

when you are waiting for your gear to arrive?

I am waiting for my Bessa R...

So far, I've played with all my other cameras.. Checked my stock of film 4 times..Bought more film. Looked at old slides. Looked at more gear to buy (this is the dangerous part).

I need to get out more.

Take pictures, buy cheap stuff from second hand camera shops, buy records (and listen to them), go to gigs. Other stuff.

Fly the occasional shuttle mission.
Photograph a friend as he leaps tall buildings.

Sell some unwanted stuff on ebay.
Go for a motorcycle ride
Go for a scooter ride
Read a book
Shoot the DSLR (which is free and helps stoke me up for a new film item)

learning really werid musical instruments is what i do to pass the time...my suggestions concertina or didjeridu...only problem is that ive started collecting musical instruments as well
