Jorge, I find it's a really nice addition and I would sure keep it. The only possible drawback is showing the picture filename, as some of us use cryptic and too long names as IMG_3$%·$"·, 04.jpg or things like that.
Maybe the picture title would fit better there, if it's possible.

edit: now that i think maybe that name is an auto-generated one by the resizing process...
