A fellow at work made some of the finest dandelion wine, made from those little yellow flowers! But my favorite wine is good old Cheerwine. 🙂

My Italian grandmother (rip) and later my mother (rip) made the most absolutely delicious salad from dandelions. Yep - weeds. OMG it was out of this world. Didn't know you could drink it as a wine. (Then again, didn't know you could make a salad from it...)
gb hill - I can drink regular wine but the thought of home-made ones still send a shiver through me. At 13 me and two school mates got horribly drunk on the broad-bean wine one of the guys mothers made. Violently ill is an understatement 🙁
