After a post to Gene about Scotchchrome, I started to remember about all the old films I use to enjoy but are no longer with us.
So post your favourites that are no longer with us and have been resigned to a history of a possible golden era in photography.
Here's the films I miss-
Agfa APX25- Eat your heart out Kodak TP, lovely fine grain and the new Ekfe 25 isn't the same. Still have three precious rolls left in the freezer. Very comparable to 4x5 ISO 400 prints and this is a 35mm sized film!
Kodak HIE Inferred in 120- Also known as fun game called “How IR proof is your film processing room”
The old Kodak Tri-X- Before they decided to cut back on the silver content. Still have a few pro-packs left over of both 35mm and 120. I even have a roll that expired in 1973. However I've almost completely changed over to Fuji's Neopan range.
Scotchchrome 1000- Grainy colour photos do work sometimes. However on the plus side I've found two possible replacements (Fuji XTRA 1600 with a two stop push or Agfa Optima 400 with a three and half stop push).
