I'm not sure you'd want to put anything heavier than a VCII on there! Those flash shoes have a tendency to destroy the eye-piece frame. How about a tripod-mount flash bracket?

Not as such, but i'd bet you could modify a flash bracket and slap something small on there to maintain a bit of the overall compactness..
Sorry i was unable to answer your initial question. What i know about flashes wouldn't fill a thimble. 🙂 I do, however, have a flash bracket somewhere, and will take a look at it to see if it's a feasible project. I think i've seen a flash for a Holga that was pretty small; maybe that would work? The only problem with the bracket is that you're forced to have it hanging off of the side of the camera.. might work, might be a total hassle.
