all i really need is a fuji g690 with 100/3.5 lens. but i wouldn't mind getting a .72 m6 or something, a 35mm summicron, the new 50mm sonnar, a 50mm macro for canon fd, and a few dozen books on my wishlist.

I've knocked my camera hard to a concrete floor, I've frozen it til I literaly had to break the ice off of it to shoot again, and I've had it completely drenched by water. It's never failed.

It would be very nice if Zeiss finally announced the next lenses on the ZF line-up (esp. the wide angles). Then it would be possible for me to know what it is exactly that I am lusting after.

You must be refering to some of those piece of crap G lenses nikon makes... Or was it their sony sensored cameras?
You're right, Canon sucks and Nikon is the best. We all know that anyways..
Edit... The 5D is a great camera regardless of what some claim 😉 As is a large portion of Canon's glass, especially the L stuff.

😀 🙄 I never thought you would get this exicted, relax 🙂 my only G lens is 70-200 f/2.8 vr (btw G means lens without aperture ring) which again means all canon lenses are G 😀 😛

I was barely born in the 1970's 😛 I just dislike people claiming opinion as fact thats all.. I hear enough of it at the store I work at. But as I said. It's a stupid arguement anyways. Chevy vs Ford ya know. You like one, you like the other. Big deal, they both make top notch equipment. Besides.. this isn't even the topic is it 😉

Lenses more than anything right now.
Maybe a Leica 21mm (if I could afford it), and recent 50 summilux (again.. it's all about affordability) and, if possible, a decent 28mm just to round out the kit.
I've got the range covered though, from 15mm through to 90mm and I'm not into 135mm although the M3 has the framelines for it.
What I'm really lusting after is excellent photos with the gear I have.. that makes me as "happy as a little gir" (to quote Hans/Frans). 😀

I'm not lusting after anything, well, nothing I can afford anyway. I wouldn't mind an a-la-carte MP and a bunch of brand new Leica lenses. And last night I saw someone shooting at a concert and I started to want a 5D with the 35, 85, and 135 L primes. There's also the Hassy I always wanted. Of course, I'm not getting any of this stuff, but its nice to dream.
