Hi all!
I just got two rolls of film back from the lab. I could not develop myself, so I outsourced it.

There are weird patterns on the roll. What can that be (apart from the dust spots)?

The films did see repeated xrays at Russian airports, but it is ISO 125 film (FP4).

The film has got that swirly flamey goodness markings of cargo checking x-ray dosage, which is much stronger than airplane boarding gate luggage checking x-ray dosage.

Could be drying marks. I once had something similar from trying to dry films on the reel; with a Kleen-Dri, as far as I recall, but it's nearly 30 years ago and I got rid of the bloody thing.

Cheers,

R.

120 film? Expired/How old?

Regarding what you call "dust marks", these remind me of problems I had with older FP4 120 film that was shot in hot/humid conditions and went in the fridge after exposure, something I will never try again ...

The rest looks like sloppy development to me. AFAIK xrays will not create minus densities. The pattern also looks too irregular/random to me. If there was a pattern from xrays, I would expect it to be more regularly shaped...
