What hood for a 50mm f3.5 Elmar lens

Assuming it's the A36 version of the Elmar, the simplest standard clamp-on hood is called FISON. As Joerg says, VALOO is a more advanced ELMAR hood that allows you to set the aperture easily. At least that's right for the thread mount Elmar...
 
Are you talking about the rarer, m-mount 50 Elmar f/3.5, or the infinitely more ubiquitous LTM Elmar?

If you are talking about the LTM Elmar, I would say Ebay or Kevin Camera's would be your best bet. There are two options - the black hood that lets you easily adjust the aperature and silver hood that just clamps on. I bought the silver one off of ebay for $50. It works and looks nice.
