What I will probably buy next is . . .

Need to do some selling before I buy anything. I sold a ltm Voightlander 21mm a few months back with the intent of picking up a M lens wider than 35mm. Havent don't it yet but I certainly miss the lens.

One of these three lenses for my Sigma SD1m:
10-20mm f/3.5
35mm f/1.4
150-500mm f/5-f/6.3
Leaning toward the first one. I am going on vacation to the Pacific Northwest later this summer. I want to be equipped but not overladen with weight.

I used to have the older version of the 10-20mm with my SD15, I thought it was pretty damn good, and the new one is supposed to be better (other than the faster aperture).

Considering the AML2 closeup for my DP2M, but really waiting for my GorillaPod to arrive from the UK along with the rest of my stuff, I don't know why I didn't pack it...

I'll be buying cream shortly, I just had my second cup of coffee black as my daughter and a friend whipped up the last of mine sometime last night.

I'd really like to update to the New Ricoh GR too, but first things first...

I need more film. Well, I "need" and really want more film. I've got some Tri-X coming in the mail - there isn't a single store in Innsbruck that I've found to sell Kodak B&W film; this land is Ilford land - but it's not enough.

Film cameras and turntables are expensive machines to feed. 🙁

Brian- It's in good hands and being put to good use. ...But now I'm wondering if instead of the 21,28,50 kit I was assembling, I should go the 25,35,(50),90 route, so your 21 might resurface.

Pentax 645N. I have a p645 and plan on upgrading to an N when I see one at the right price. Being somewhat stingy I'd like the prices on keh to be 40 to 50 USD cheaper than they are now. The main reasons for upgrading are knobs instead of the menu and an unreasonable fear of what I have dying unexpectedly on me.😱

Just sold my zeiss glass and voigtlander rangefinder. Funds are going to a Mamiya RZ 67ii. Then selling the Pentax 67 and lenses. Funds will go to my first 4x5 camera.. Onward and upward.

I just bought 10 rolls of film. My next purchase will be...more film. Not buying any cameras for a long time.

Film, film, film ...

I have this very same "problem". I cannot stop buying film because I know if I do not buy it now it could be gone later. Especially a problem with older films.

Plus I do like to have a good stockpile in the freezer as you never know what film you might need or be in the mood for.

Paper, Lith developer, and something new, a Copper Toner.
I use selenium and sepia, but never a copper one.

I was just planning on buying more film, because really that's all I need. However, I have been missing the scale focus cameras I used to have. I'll probably wind up buying a new Trip, XA2, or a Rollei 35 sometime in the near future.

I have my eye on the Fuji 100s, will need to sell my D7000 kit (at least that's the plan right now) The only thing stopping me from buying it now is that it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

But I think being forced to my that decision will be a good thing

Best

I take my time in the preresearch, and buy when, for me, the time is right. I always buy in cash (the exception was our house). I also make it a rule for most big nonessentials (e.g., cameras) to save up for them separately from our day jobs and savings. Here's where I am now:

Once we decided to get out of wedding photography at the end of this year, the plan was to sell our D700s, lenses, flashes, and crop body and buy an x100s with some of the proceeds, putting the rest into savings. However, I didn't want to wait till November, so I decided to start saving independently by doing a bit of side work.

I've been saving around $25 per day since May, so in the next couple of weeks, I'll have enough for a new or used x100s, which I'll buy, as I've been interested in the x100/s since the x100 came out, but never made a move to purchase one until we decided to leave the wedding business.

So I'll get the camera this summer without tapping into savings, and in the fall, after our weddings are done, we'll sell the DSLR gear and pocket the savings. This is pretty much how I worked a couple of years ago when I decided we should buy the D700s and primes; I took on extra work for a couple of months so we could buy them without using any of our regular job money or savings.

Or you could just be lazy and patient like me - work the same amount but spend less and wait longer 😀 Currently flexing my cheap muscles to save for a 35 cron...
