I have an old DeJur 4x5 enlarger. Just found a Glass plate negative carrier for D-Type Enlargers but I don't know if my DeJur is one of them.
Can anyone with knowledge of this help me out? The carrier is for Omega 423-327 and D-Type Enlargers.
Thanks.

I don't know but a bit off topic, I have an old DeJur enlarger that's a basket case. If anyone needs parts, pm me and they can have them for the cost of shipping. I think it's a Dejur Versatile or Professional. I used a good one years ago and it was a nice enlarger. Joe

not familiar with DeJur enlargers but D was the designation Omega used for their 4x5 enlargers, I would hazard a guess that it would not work on anything but a Omega enlarger

Yep, its for Omega D-series enlargers. The most common is the D2; leter models are the D3 and D5. The basic models were condenser enlargers that took film up to 4x5. Cold light heads and colorheads were available too. I have a D2; a nice well built enlarger. All of them used the same neg carriers.

Thank you very much, that helps!
Maybe I'll look for one of these enlargers too...

D is an old designation for 4x5.

I had not heard that before but it would be great if that were the case, then the film holder I want to buy should fit my enlarger. It's from the 50's, so maybe that designation applies.

Here's My Omega D2 4x5 Enlarger.
Here's My Omega D2 4x5 Enlarger.
I bought this twenty-five years ago, and had a friend completely restore it. It's a great enlarger; They made scads of parts for it, you can configure it into whatever you need. I just rebuilt a 4x5 Omega carrier, that enlarges 70mm 6x6 long roll film full-frame, including the edges (from my Hasselblad backs). My Brother-in-law kindly built the wooden enlarging bench for me; It drops down and I can easily make a 16x20 from 4x5.
At the last camera show and auction I went to, a friendly guy there offered me a complete D2, for free, if I would haul it away! I declined. He said it was going to his local land fill. Such a pity.

That looks like a sweet setup. I should have mine up and running middle of next month. That's the plan anyway.
