What is a good price for a used VC 35 1.2?

I love the look of this lens, but I don't actually know the good used price range for it... Is it better to buy it new with a warranty...?

EvilBay tends to be a little bit too expensive all the time so...!

At the used price of $700+ - I would recommend a new one from Cameraquest. At least you get a warranty on it and if anything goes awry - you have a fall back position. The 35f1.2 is fairly rare used as there is no competition and those who buy it - use it. There are times when buying new is a smarter move and for somethings as "pushing the optical" envelope as the 35f1.2 - it is a good idea.

I bought mine in perfect / like new condition from a fine fellow RFF member for 550€, which was about 750$ at the time, and, for european standards, a very very good price.
But I've noticed that common used (and new) prices for this lens have dropped here by now, although it's merely been a year ago.
