I keep reading things described as creamy, can someone tell me what it refers to? Does it mean a kind of softness that is pleasant, but I think that may be Glow, anyways , please tell me about creamy

To a considerable extent, "grain free", i.e. bigger formats than 35mm and not over-enlarged. Also, with a lot of detail in the light mid-tones. As Mortensen pointed out, photography is inherently a short tonal range medium, and by pandering to that, instead of trying to fight it, you can get 'creamier' tonality.

Cheers,

R.
