When I go out with my Barnack Leica, I usually only take my Voigtlander VC 1 light meter, an SBOOI, a hood, a yellow filter if I am shooting B/W, and maybe an extra roll of film.
What do you guys carry?

Two ilia cameras, both loaded with Tri-X or HP5+, Sekonic incident meter, 35 3.5 Elmar, 50 2.0 Summar, 90 4.0 Elmar, and either 135 4.0 or 200 4.0 with Viso II; A36 filters, and lens hoods. That's what goes in the car or truck. For walkabout, 111a, 35 Elmar or 50 Summar, meter, one extra roll of film, graduated A36 filter, and lens hood.

Real Men Shoot Film.
Leica IIIf, 28mm f3.5 Color-Skopar, 35mm f3.5 Summaron, 50mm f2.8 Elmar, and 90mm f4 Elmar, viewfinders for all the lenses, Sekonic L-758 meter, and a Japan Camera Hunter film case fill of Tmax 400.
That sounds like a lot, but it is light weight and all fits in a small bag or the pockets of a photo vest and it gives me everything I could need.

Unless I'm traveling or going out with a specific purpose, it's one body, one collapsible or very small lens (50/3.5 Elmar, 50/3.5 Canon, 50/2 Summitar, 50/2 Summar, 50/1.9 Serenar, 28/3.5 Nikkor, 21/4 Voigtlander, or one of my hacked pancake lenses), VF if needed, maybe a filter if I feel like it. Whatever it is, it gets jammed in a convenient pocket.

A black paint "nickle' Leica II.
Does a Tower 45 count with its rear door and lever film advance?
In LTM: 35/1.8 Nikkor; 45/2.8 Super Rokkor; 50/3.5 Collasible Elmar in nickle no coating; and black 28/3.5 Canon.

If it is only the Barnack, then I will have the IIIa + a compact lens ( elmar 5cm r 3.5 cm), maybe the other elmar in the bag/ pocket. Accessory finder for every lens and some filters. I may add the 21mm Skopar and its' finder and hood, but most of the times it is one lens only.

Snarky Joe,
Don't you remember that I got that cool Leica two with the nickel 50 Elmar from Sam as a barter during the last Camera Beauty Pagent?
Anyways because Sam is a collector of course it is in mucho clean condition. I kinda love it.

My "Barnack" consists of my Canon IIf.... But it usually travels with 35mm Canon or Jupiter-12 lenses and Canon "Owl" viewfinder, and my faithful Luna Pro meter. Maybe a 28mm or 50mm lens too.

If it is just a Barnack out and about, the main camera is a IIf with a 50/2 Nikkor or a 50/1.8 Serenar.
There is also a 25mm Skopar in the bag with a finder along with Lunasix (large as it is). I have carried some LTM 90mm lenses in the past but find the WA is used much more often.
The rest of the bag contains film (invariably ASA400) and some plastic bags to protect the camera when shooting in the rain.

I normally don't change lenses when I'm out. My bag usually has either a IIIc with 21mm or 35mm Color-Skopar (mostly the 21), or IIIf with a 5cm (I prefer the collapsible Elmar, Summitar or 'cron), with respective finders and hoods. Plus a meter (Sekonic L-208 or L-308S), Y filter, and spare roll of film. Occasionally I'll take both cameras.

Monochrom Black Paint Leica II and Nikon 50mm f/1.4 S mount. Man, that lens is nice. I usually go out with one roll and shoot the whole thing.

I forgot. No bag unless it’s a non photographic Crumpler slung over the shoulder with the camera and collapsed Elmar in the shallow zippered outer pocket. Meter is Gossen DigiProF which is usually in a jacket inside breast pocket. Or in that bag. Never in a trouser pocket. New Sekonic 308X is nice in a trouser pocket with the long lanyard just reaching. But mostly no meter with me if out with the IIIf amd lately mostly Ektar and no spare roll. I like minimal kit and the only concession is I will make sure I have that FISON hood with me.

When I carry a Leica it is usually a wartime Leica IIIc with whatever lens I feel like using, often a 5cm f/2.5 Hektor. FISON hood, sometimes a Y2 filter.
And a Voigtländer Cosina VC-II meter.
Combined in a Mr.Zhou half-case and a Luigi Crescenzi strap.
If I don't carry extra film, I don't even need a bag.

Right now my Barnack kit contains the following (more or less):
Leica IIIg
Nikon Varifocal finder
Leitz Elmar 35mm, pre-war, uncoated - OR - Canon 35mm f:1,8
Leitz collapsible Summicron 50 mm
Leitz collapsible Summitar 50 mm, postwar, coated
Leitz Elmar 90 f:4, postwar
Leitz Hektor 135 f:4,5, postward, coated
Leitz FIKUS hood
Leitz "barndoor" hood
Gossen LunaPilot meter
Rather a lot, really...
if I'm going-out with a pre-war, black-paint Leica, I try to assemble an appropriate kit, with similar period lenses.
