What is in your kit?

My daily kits depend on which camera I have film in and looks the most desirable on the day. Recently I have been using a Konica TC-x and a Fuji STX1n a lot with trips out for a Cosina CSM and a Chinon CE-4. All cameras have gone out with a 50mm.
When I travel it tends to be a DSLr or Oly Pen with a Fuji GS645s falm Slr or a small 35mm rangefinder, though I think I will be bringing along a Yashicamat as well or instead of the 35mm. I am using the Fuji 645 for a project so she is hyper safe in my bag for as long as she works though I am picking up a GS645w tomorrow so that may well come along too.

I try to keep it simple. Usually a Leica IIIc with 50mm Elmar in a pocket altho I've started keeping a four month old infant for a friend so the IIIc now has a 50mm f2 Nikkor all hidden in the diaper bag. I'm just doing friends and family pictures.

- Ricoh GXR, M-bayonet camera unit, 21/40/90 mm lenses most of the time.
- Leica M4-2, 35/50/90 lenses most of the time. Incident lightmeter.

Either setup fits handily with room to spare in a small bag. In fact, I tend to go out with just two lenses most of the time. 21&40 is a perfect pair for the GXR.

I have others lenses and other cameras, but this is what gets the majority of the use.

I've put away all the gear except the FM2 and a 50mm 1.8 loaded with Tri-X. I intend on shooting with this stripped down kit for the next year or so until I've really explored all the possibilities.

Fell outside the Grocery Store and hit hard the cement and the Broken glass bottle of pelligrino water in my bag ... Required Plastic Surgery/ stitching to repair my Face

Always carry my small bag with my 28mm and 50mm, And a M4p or M9 (one of them stays at home) with a 35mm mounted. Traveling light is my credo. 😉

Wish you a speedy and full recovery, Helen; sounds a very unpleasant incident.

Recent kit has been the M9 with 35 'lux and 75 Heliar, but I carry only the body and one lens at a time, leaving the bag and other stuff behind.
But the dSLR just got back from service, so it needs to get out and about with its standard prime lens. Too bad it's been so cold and dull here... uninspiring.

Back to the minor topic; not many 85's or 90's in the thread and we've reached Page 3 and Post 72. I can't imagine even a small outfit without a portrait lens, especially for travel.

Unless I'm on some sort of assignment I just carry the Fuji GS645s normally. Looking at an Olympus XA for my day to day stuff. Adding a 5Dii to the outfit before the next busy season.

For film, I like to shoot Neopan 400, Acros 100, HP5, and Tri-X for b+w and Portra/Ektar for color.

I always carry an 85/90, typically the Nikon 85/2 because it fits easily and I like it's performance. I love how the Canon 85/1.9 renders but it's a beast.

Speedy recovery Helen. In keeping with our litigious reputation, you should probably sue someone.

An M2, usually with a lens when I remember to bring one 😱😛
Sometimes a spare roll of film when I think I'm nearing the end of the roll (frame counter doesn't work!)

Just like everyone else here, I wish you a speedy recovery, Helen; but having to pay a hospital bill for that sort of thing sounds weird and harsh!
