I think I remember someone raving about a Konica Hexanon 50/2.4 having one of the highest LPM ever measured in an LTM lens.

It is the sharpest 50 I have ever used. However not available for US 350, these days.

... likes film again.
The Canon 50/1.4 is quite sharp, the 50/3.5 Elmar "red-scale", the Skopar 50/2.5 also.
Out of these lenses, the Elmar is my favorite.

yes
yes
This is so sharp, it actually outresolves the eye.
For < $300 I'd say the J3 50/1.5 is the sharpest.

Im also thinking of getting a Canon 50/1.8, when I finish restoring a broken Zorki 1 i picked up for chump change.
Anyone know a good site to buy FSU RF's other than Fedka?
I did look at Olegs site, but it appears he doenst have any Zorki 1 models. Just looking for another cheap parts camera.
I was thinking of converting mine into a "Standard" keeping the RF off and filling in the holes and such.

I just acquired a Canon 50mm 1.4 and wow. It is unreal. One of the sharpest I have ever used.
Suprisingly, my Summar stopped down is very decent too. The amount of detail it can produce in a proper shooting environment is pretty amazing.
The hexanon would be great to try. how much does it go for?
