What is the (Tele) Tessar Look?

I have seen Sonnar, and I have seen Planar.

I have seen Biogon as well, but cannot really discern any difference from Planar.

Now I hear people talking of the Tessar Look? What is it like? My Nokia Phone has Tessar, but I am sure it's not what to look for in the new Tele lens by Zeiss.

A classic Tessar shot at f/2.8-f/5.6 at medium distances will give round out-of-focus regions.

I can't recall the aperture, but it probably was f/2.8 or f/4.0. This is the 35mm lens. You'll get similar performance from the Tessar and Xenar in medium format.

A Tele-Tessar is a different design from the Tessar and is a very capable lens. I have this in the Rolleiflex QBM mount in 135 and 200.
