What is your favorite camera strap for an M?

I like straps that are absolutely minimal and totally secure, but quickly removed.

For the M: standard Leica M strap, with the rubber pad removed, the slider buckle cut off, and the ends bartacked to length. For my SLR/DSLR: Same, but with the adjustment buckles intact.

Yet another vote for the Domke swivel gripper, but I use the attachment ends from the modern Leica straps; they are easier to get on and off and I like the plastic bit that snaps down over the end to keep it in place.

I know it doesn't get mentioned, but I am going to put in a plug for Mr. Zhou's leather strap. It is very soft and supple, just the right length (40 in. or so) and costs half of Luigi's.

richardvanle, smaller meaning thinner (1 inch wide) and larger meaning wider (1.5 inch wide)? That would make sense to me. Just wondering if that is what you meant.

Looks like the Domke Strap is the most popular and for good reason. Besides my silk love, I have 2 domke's.
